In a statement issued on Thursday, Tinubu described Prince Adedoyin as a “national icon with decades of footprints in the manufacturing sector” and praised his vision, discipline, and generosity.

The President highlighted Adedoyin’s contributions to the Nigerian economy, noting his creation of numerous employment opportunities and his enduring commitment to education and community development.

“Through sheer determination, entrepreneurial brilliance, and integrity, he built enterprises that have contributed significantly to our economy and created opportunities for countless Nigerians,” Tinubu said.

Tinubu also recalled his personal relationship with Adedoyin, describing it as close, pleasant, and warm.

He wished the industrialist continued grace, strength, peace, and joy, welcoming him to the “grand club of the nonagenarians.”

Prince Adedoyin, who arrived in Lagos as a teenager from Agbamu, Kwara State, has spent over seven decades contributing to the state’s social and economic fabric while maintaining a strong connection with his hometown.
