Saddam Oladipupo issues a fiery warning to Imole Oloyede ahead of their Lagos title bout, promising an early knockout in a heated showdown.

Rising lightweight contender Saddam “Baby Boxer” Oladipupo issued a direct challenge to rival Imole “System” Oloyede in Lagos today, declaring that the national title fight at Tafawa Balewa Square will not progress beyond the second round.

The statement set the tone for GOtv Boxing Night 34, where the Saddam Oladipupo matchup is expected to command centre stage.

Oladipupo said he would enter the ring sharper and meaner, promising what he described as a brutal lesson in disciplined boxing for spectators eager for festive action.

Oloyede responded with a provocative retort, comparing the fighter to the former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein.

Oloyede said his opponent would be “hiding in dark corners of Tafawa Balewa Square” once the punches begin to land, adding that he is the superior boxer by every measure.

Their confrontation headlines a vibrant card that blends boxing, music and comedy into a single night of entertainment.

The event is tipped by organisers to deliver a powerful close to the year.

A major attraction on the undercard is the national super bantamweight title fight between the flamboyant Sodiq “Happy Boy” Adeleke and reigning champion Durotimi “Tiny” Agboola, whose compact and rugged approach has earned him a reputation for resilience.

The night also features an international lightweight contest between Nigeria’s Rasheed “ID Buster” Idowu and Ghana’s Nii Offei Dodoo, adding a layer of West African rivalry certain to energise the crowd.

Another eagerly anticipated meeting pits Segun “Odi” Gbobaniyi against Tobiloba “Smiling Assassin” Ijomoni in a national lightweight challenge expected to unfold as a tactical three-dimensional chess match with significant danger at every turn.

In the national light welterweight division, Sodiq “Smart Lion” Suleimon meets Emmanuel “Ability” Abimbola across eight rounds.

Both fighters favour forward-driving, high-pressure styles that could turn their contest into the most relentless exchange of the night.

Rounding out the action is a national bantamweight challenge between Ezekiel “Touch” Seun and Toheeb “Full Tank” Hassan, a fight anticipated to deliver sustained intensity through all eight rounds.
