Laide Bakare criticises TikTok tributes to Allwell Ademola, calling some social media behaviour “sad” after the actress’ passing.

Actress Laide Bakare has criticised colleagues and fans for posting social media content following the death of fellow actress Allwell Ademola, expressing sadness over how some have handled the news.

In an Instagram post, Bakare noted that some people were active on TikTok, playing games and collecting gifts just hours after Ademola’s passing.

“The way fans and colleagues are creating content with the passing of our dear sister is really sad. Anyway, God is watching everyone. Rest well, Allwell,” she wrote.

Bakare added: “Still in shock, some of her very close pals were even still open on the TikTok app yesterday, doing tap tap busy playing games and collecting gifts. Haaaa!! Aiye le oo!!”

The comments follow the death of Ademola, who suffered a heart attack and passed away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 49.

Her family has expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and said burial arrangements will be communicated at a later date.

Bakare’s concerns were echoed by fellow actress Alesh Sanni, who questioned the sincerity of online condolences and highlighted inconsistencies in how people show support.
