The event offered young people a chance to express themselves through performing and visual arts, including dance, music, and drawing, while fostering creativity, confidence, and skills development among emerging talents.

Sunday Iniobong Stephen, convener of the DAM Initiative, said more than 60 participants competed across Dance, Music, and Art categories.

Osuocha Dalinton emerged winner of the Dance category, with Unlimited Praise and Anunobi Miracle finishing as first and second runners-up.

In the Music category, Triumph claimed the top prize, followed by Unlimited Prize and Benny Guesh.

The Art category was won by Gold Orema, with Favor Chilasa and Ubuikejohn as first and second runners-up.

First-place winners received ₦20,000, while first and second runners-up were awarded ₦10,000 and ₦5,000 respectively.

Winners were also presented with prize boards, and all participants received certificates.

The event’s credibility was reinforced by the involvement of industry professionals as judges.

Barrister Ademoye Dorothy Ugonwa, Chairperson of the Guild of Nigerian Dancers, judged the Dance category.

The Art category was overseen by Mr Dotun Oluwa, Acting Head of Fine Art at Lagos State University of Education, while Mr Nwachukwu Jeremiah Ugonna, music director and producer, handled the Music category.

Guest performances included sets by musicians NG (Onyeukwu) and Obanla A1 Sound.

Sunday Iniobong Stephen said DAM Project 2.0 strengthened grassroots creative engagement within the Afromedia community and contributed to the discovery of new talents.
