Nigerian disc jockey Dorcas Shola Fapson, popularly known as Ms Dsf, has commented on the controversial Mirabel case, which recently sparked widespread attention across social media platforms.

The saga began when TikTok user @mirab351, known as Mirabel, alleged that she had been sexually assaulted in her apartment in Ogijo, Ogun State.
The posts went viral, trending under hashtags such as #StopRapingWomen, and prompted urgent calls for justice.
Authorities later confirmed that Mirabel was not arrested. She voluntarily reported the incident and was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
The Ogun State Police have stated that the matter remains under investigation, with evidence being reviewed to determine the veracity of her claims.
The case took a dramatic turn when Mirabel retracted her statements, admitting in a viral audio recording that parts of her story were false and apologising to the public.
Police have indicated that legal action may follow for providing false information once she is discharged from medical care.
Reacting to the developments, Ms Dsf said she initially doubted the authenticity of the claims and suggested that the TikToker might be struggling with mental health issues requiring careful attention.
“Honestly, when I initially saw the video, & DM, I didn’t believe it. Call it discernment, but something was very off. I genuinely think she has mental health problems & should be penalised & treated as such,” Ms Dsf wrote on her social media page.
