Nwaogu Udochukwu Victor, popularly known as Nkubi, has stepped into the romance game by gifting his wife flowers, a gesture he previously dismissed as “not African tradition.”

Just days earlier, Nkubi had caused controversy during an interview when he admitted he had never bought flowers for his wife, stating, “As Africans, we don’t do flowers.”

His wife shared the thoughtful surprise on Instagram, proudly announcing: “Udochukwu, my lovely husband, has finally bought me natural flowers.”

Adding a personal touch, Nkubi included a heartfelt note alongside the bouquet: “To my Adorable wife, You are as beautiful as these flowers,” he wrote, drawing a poetic comparison between his wife and the blooms.

The gesture has softened hearts online, demonstrating that even those who resist tradition can find meaningful ways to express love.

Fans praised the actor for his romantic turn, highlighting the importance of small acts of thoughtfulness in relationships.
