Kelvin Power reveals he left Mike Adenuga’s household after conflicts with daughter Bella amid personal struggles

Fitness trainer and security professional Kelvin Atobiloye, popularly known as Kelvin Power, has opened up about the challenges he faced while working for billionaire Mike Adenuga’s family, saying persistent tension with Adenuga’s daughter, Bella Adenuga, made his position untenable.

Kelvin explained that although he initially worked directly under Bella Adenuga, he felt that no matter how hard he tried, his efforts were never enough to meet her expectations.

He recounted that the situation escalated when Bella reassigned him to her father’s residence to work as part of Adenuga’s personal security team.

Despite the move, Kelvin said the tension persisted, prompting him to leave the household entirely.

“I was working with Adenuga’s daughter, Bella, but it seemed nothing I did pleased her. One day, she sent me back to her father’s compound. I then started working with Adenuga directly. But she still had issues with me, so I eventually had to leave,” he said.

Kelvin revealed that the decision to leave the Adenuga household came during a particularly difficult period in his life, around ten years ago, shortly after losing his mother and while facing significant financial instability.

After leaving, Kelvin continued in private security and later became the bodyguard for Afrobeats singer Kizz Daniel, a role that brought him wider public recognition.

The revelation has generated reactions online, with some users questioning his choice to speak publicly about a high-profile family, while others empathised with his account of the challenging work environment.

Mike Adenuga, founder of Globacom and a prominent Nigerian billionaire, had an estimated net worth of $6.8 billion in 2024, according to Forbes, placing him among the 450 richest people in the world.
