Rotimi Salami reflects on Allwell Ademola’s passing, noting cardiac arrest and celebrating her legacy in Nollywood
Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has spoken about the death of his friend and colleague, Allwell Ademola, attributing her passing to timing.

Salami made the remarks during an interview on Oyinmomo TV, explaining that cardiac arrest can occur unexpectedly and affect anyone, regardless of health precautions.
He noted that Ademola, who was asthmatic, had always been attentive to her wellbeing.
“I believe it was just her time. It’s simple cardiac arrest can happen to anyone. Most people know she’s asthmatic, but she doesn’t joke with her health,” Salami said.
Ademola’s death was confirmed by colleagues on social media on December 27, followed by a service of songs and a burial ceremony in January.
Fellow actors and friends later paid tribute, celebrating her contributions and legacy in the Nigerian film industry.
