Adekunle Gold twin rumours dismissed as the singer clarifies reports about his family and speaks on his daughter’s musical interest
Afrobeats singer Adekunle Gold has dismissed widespread reports claiming that he and his wife, fellow musician Simi, recently welcomed twins.

Adekunle Gold addresses twin claims clarification came during a recent interview where the singer spoke about family life, parenting and his marriage to Simi.
Addressing the speculation directly, Adekunle Gold stated that the reports circulating online were false, explaining that the couple welcomed a son, not twins.
“My wife and I didn’t give birth to twins. It’s just internet rumours. We have a son,” he said.
The singer also reflected on raising children in a musically gifted household, noting that their daughter is already displaying a growing interest in music.
According to him, being raised by two songwriters may naturally be influencing her creative development.
“It’s interesting to be married to another fantastic songwriter, and now our daughter is already giving signs that she might be one for music as well,” he added.
Adekunle Gold reacts to twin reports gained traction months after the couple shared a pregnancy announcement video revealing they were expecting their second child.
The announcement sparked speculation online, with many fans later assuming the pair had welcomed twins.
