The APC has released its 2026 screening schedule for Senate and House of Representatives aspirants ahead of its primary elections in Abuja
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the official screening schedule for aspirants contesting Senate and House of Representatives seats ahead of its upcoming primary elections.

According to a press statement issued in Abuja on May 8, 2026, the exercise will take place over two days for both categories of aspirants.
For Senate aspirants, the screening is scheduled to hold on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the Abuja Continental Hotel, formerly known as Sheraton Hotel, in Abuja. The process will begin at 10:00 am each day.
House of Representatives aspirants will undergo their screening exercise on the same dates, May 9 and May 10, 2026, at Treasures Suites & Conferences in Abuja, also scheduled to commence at 10:00 am daily.
The party directed all aspirants to attend punctually and ensure they come with all required documents and credentials for verification.
The announcement was signed by Felix Morka, CON, National Publicity Secretary of the APC.

The screening exercise is part of preparations ahead of the party’s primary elections, which will determine its candidates for the National Assembly contests.
