The announcement positions both industry leaders at the forefront of a high-trust executive platform designed to shape marketing strategy, enterprise direction, and broader policy conversations in Nigeria.
The CMO Circle, convened by MarkHack in partnership with StatiSense and Brand Communicator, operates as a strategic forum at the intersection of business leadership and national development.
It brings together top marketing executives to exchange insights and influence industry direction.
A key feature of the initiative is the CMO Index, a quarterly publication that captures executive sentiment, market intelligence, and forward-looking analysis.
The index is designed to support data-driven decision-making and contribute to policy-relevant discussions within Nigeria’s business environment.
As Co-Chairs, Ukoh and Akinwunmi will guide high-level conversations on innovation, talent development, enterprise growth, and the evolving role of marketing leadership within the C-suite.
Ukoh, Chief Executive Officer of Entod Marketing and former Director of Marketing Services at Nestlé Nigeria, is recognised for her strong background in brand strategy and consumer engagement.
Akinwunmi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Prima Garnet (Ogilvy Nigeria), brings decades of experience in advertising leadership and strategic brand consultancy across leading local and multinational organisations.
Speaking on the appointment, Dr Victor ’Gbenga Afolabi, Convener of MarkHack and the CMO Circle, described the platform as a premium space designed to elevate marketing leadership into policy influence and strategic impact.
