Iran warns United States against further attacks, saying it will respond with new methods as tensions rise over Strait of Hormuz
The Iranian military has issued a strong warning to the United States of America, cautioning that any further attacks on Iran would be met with new methods and responses.

The Iran warns United States message was delivered on Tuesday by military spokesman Brigadier General Ebrahim Zolfaghari, who said Tehran cannot be “besieged or defeated,” according to state media outlet Fars News Agency.
Zolfaghari stated that if the United States launches another attack, Iran’s armed forces will respond using “new tools and methods,” stressing that the country’s military capabilities remain fully prepared.
He further noted Iran’s strategic dominance over the Strait of Hormuz, insisting that the geopolitical situation in the waterway had permanently changed in Iran’s favour.
“Given the dominance of the armed forces over the Strait of Hormuz and the irreversibility of the situation in the strait, the enemy’s only option is to respect the Iranian nation and observe Iran’s rights,” he said.
Separately, Ebrahim Azizi, chairman of Iran’s parliamentary national security commission, said the Strait of Hormuz would “forever remain in the possession and management” of Tehran.
The development comes amid heightened tensions following remarks by United States President Donald Trump, who said planned strikes on Iran were called off at the request of Gulf states while negotiations were ongoing.
Trump also warned that the United States could launch a full-scale assault if a diplomatic agreement is not reached.

The exchange underscores renewed uncertainty in the region as diplomatic efforts continue alongside military posturing from both sides.
