Bobrisky reacts to Oyo teacher murder footage, condemning the killing of a teacher in Oyo State and calling for urgent action on insecurity in Nigeria
Nigerian crossdresser and social media personality Bobrisky has reacted strongly to a viral video showing the brutal killing of a mathematics teacher, Michael Oyedokun, in Oyo State, Nigeria on Wednesday, expressing shock and outrage over the incident.

The footage, which has circulated widely on social media, reportedly shows the tragic death of the teacher allegedly at the hands of armed assailants, sparking renewed concern over rising insecurity in parts of the country.
In response, Bobrisky lamented the state of the nation, contrasting the incident with ongoing social media conversations around celebrity scandals involving singer Chike and media personality Frank Edoho, arguing that Nigerians are distracted from more urgent national issues.
Bobrisky warned that the country was becoming increasingly unsafe, urging Nigerians, particularly those outside major cities, to consider leaving if they are able to do so, describing the situation as alarming and distressing.
Bobrisky reacts Oyo teacher murder remarks also included a plea for support for the deceased teacher’s children, as the influencer suggested efforts to assist them financially and potentially relocate them abroad for safety.
The comments have added to a growing wave of reactions from public figures. Gospel singer Ebuka Songs criticised government messaging amid ongoing violence, while footballer Emmanuel Emenike and activist VeryDarkMan also voiced frustration over worsening insecurity.
Actor Bolanle Ninalowo described himself as a voice for the people, while actor Kunle Remi expressed heartbreak over the incident, calling for leadership accountability.
Singer Davido also previously lamented violent attacks across the country, while actress Toyin Abraham and fellow actress Iyabo Ojo have repeatedly called for stronger government action on insecurity.
