The challenge offered no elimination risk, but the reward was significant, as contestants competed for the highly sought-after Immunity Pin.
Renowned pastry chef Tosan Jemide joined the programme as guest judge, bringing his expertise from Australia and his reputation as one of Africa’s most celebrated pastry chefs, known for creating the tallest cake on the continent.
Contestants were tasked with recreating Chef Tosan’s cake recipe while also completing detailed decoration work.
The challenge intensified further when judges introduced a surprise twist requiring them to decorate cookies in addition to the cake assignment.

Pressure quickly mounted inside the kitchen as several contestants struggled to manage the complex demands of the task.
Favy experienced a major setback when her cakes collapsed in the oven, leaving her visibly shaken and briefly overwhelmed by panic.
However, she regrouped after encouragement from the judges and adapted her approach to salvage her work.
Isabella’s challenge took a different turn after a measurement error resulted in a mixture that failed to set properly, forcing her to present an imperfect final dish that did not impress the judges.
David also struggled during the decorating phase, losing composure momentarily before receiving guidance to help him complete his presentation.
Loye, who admitted baking was not his strength, maintained focus throughout the challenge and successfully delivered a fully decorated cake, earning praise for his determination.
After a detailed evaluation of all dishes, the judges emphasised resilience, adaptability and improvement under pressure as key deciding factors.
Despite her early setback, Favy was named Dish of the Day after impressing the judges with her recovery and ability to turn a difficult situation into a successful outcome.
Her performance earned her the Immunity Pin, giving her a strategic advantage in the competition moving forward.
