Police in Colombia have arrested a man following shocking allegations of child abuse uncovered after a woman raised the alarm while walking past an apartment building on a residential street on 15 June 2026.

Thearrest followed a distressing incident in which the woman initially believed she had seen a man playing with a small child on a balcony, before realising the situation was far more serious and immediately alerting nearby residents and authorities.
According to initial reports, police officers responded swiftly to the distress call and stormed the apartment, where they discovered three children aged 7, 5 and 15 who were allegedly being repeatedly abused by the suspect, described as a Texas-born man.

Tensions escalated as the crowd insisted on seeing the suspect, prompting authorities to deploy riot control units to maintain order and safely extract him from the scene.
