The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) is hosting Soundcity OnTour from October 7 to 9, 2026, as Bigi and Fearless Energy Drink, brands of Rite Foods Limited, bring three days of music, dance, talent discovery and interactive entertainment to the campus.
The FUNAAB stop is designed to give students more than a conventional concert experience, with aspiring artistes and dancers taking centre stage through competitions, auditions, games and other campus activations.

A major highlight of the programme is the BIGI Music Competition, which offers student artistes an opportunity to compete for a ₦1 million campus prize while showcasing their talents to a wider audience.
The Fearless Dance Competition will also give student dancers a platform to demonstrate their creativity, energy and originality as the activation builds towards the grand concert on October 9.
Biola Aransiola, Brand Manager, BIGI, said the initiative was created to provide young Nigerians with opportunities to express their creativity and develop their talents.
“Young Nigerians are full of talent, creativity and big dreams, and we want to create spaces where they can bring their creativity to life,” Aransiola said.
She added that Soundcity OnTour provides an opportunity for the brands to connect directly with young people while discovering the distinctive energy and talent present on different campuses.

The FUNAAB activation is part of the 20-campus Soundcity OnTour 2026 journey, an expansion of the platform’s debut tour across 10 institutions in 2023.
The tour has visited several Nigerian institutions, including Pan-Atlantic University, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Yaba College of Technology, the University of Lagos, the University of Uyo, the University of Calabar, Obafemi Awolowo University, the University of Port Harcourt, Niger Delta University and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
At FUNAAB, Bigi is taking the lead on music and emerging talent, while Fearless Energy Drink is powering the dance and entertainment experience.
Beyond the competitions, students will have access to games, interactive activities and other brand experiences throughout the three-day programme before the main concert on October 9.
For Rite Foods, the activation provides an opportunity to connect its brands with a youthful audience while creating a platform for students to perform, compete, network and explore their creative potential.
The Soundcity OnTour experience reflects the growing role of campus activations in connecting entertainment brands with Nigeria’s young and increasingly influential consumer audience.
