Toyin Saraki, the wife of the former Nigerian Senate president, Dr. Bukola Saraki, didn’t hide her disgust for a post on the popular micro-blogging site, Twitter, when a user decided to get funny.
In the post, the user with the handle @omoalhajailorin, alleged to be one of the aides of the Kwara state governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, took a lovely photo of the politicians and added his own narrative. He created a dialogue where the couple were exchanging banter on the progress of the governor of Kwara State.
And the former Ilorin first lady wasn’t having it even though @omoalhajailorin only managed to get just 41 retweets and 112 likes for his troubles.
He wrote:
Conversation between Bukola Saraki and his wife
Bukola: my wife see how Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is performing and giving freedom to the people we enslaved.
Toyin Saraki : Na wao. How far about our family friend Hushpuppi

The beautiful wife of the celebrated politician and a recognised global health advocate, healthcare philanthropist seemed to have had enough and gave the tasteless post and its author a piece of her mind.
The founder and president of Wellbeing Foundation Africa wrote:

She didn’t stop there…
Interestingly, on Monday this week, I had discussed the need to curb the nefarious scourge of irresponsible social media operators using the likenesses of public figures in spreading misinformation.https://t.co/KpTynKY8U7

I would certainly hope that after this, I will not have cause to re-issue my cease and desist warning to Kwara Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, to ensure that his ‘loving supporters’ stop their repulsive and malicious targeting of my person, in their social media falsehoods.

Rather, they should work towards repairing the sound moral values for which Kwarans are known.
The spirit and good nature of the people of Kwara should be a guiding light for its leadership. pic.twitter.com/R5Q0QQiHXf

Indeed, as Kwara State, and the rest of Nigeria struggles to combat and contain the loss of lives to #COVID19, I would expect all social media aware citizens to devote themselves to positive social and behavioural change communications in the common quest of saving lives. pic.twitter.com/b0eaeZNKfc

Her tweets were generating reactions as some respondents were taking swipes at the Kwara State government for his alleged continued attacks on the Sarakis by proxies.
@omoalhajailorin trying to tarnish diz family image won’t bring glory to Ur own family, so y not level them alone in peace. And I don’t think HE abdulrahman abdulrazaq @RealAARahman as said anytin about d former senate President leave d family out of Ur mess.
