For the third consecutive time, the Nigerian most consistent premium brand in the marketing and communication magazine, Brand Communicator, has again emerged the PR Magazine of the year at the Lagos PR Industry Gala and Awards, LaPRIGA.

The all glossy magazine, which is now the most serially awarded and recognised print publication, also scored more points as its Senior Reporter, Azeez Disu, clinched PR Journalist of the year. This brought the total awards on his shelf this year alone to two.

Freelanews recalls that Azeez recently won the prestigious Brand Journalist of the Year at the Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) awards.

LaPRIGA Awards is organised by flagship Lagos NIPR chapter.

“On behalf of the selection panel of the 2019 LaPRIGA, we are delighted to inform you that the Brand Communicator has been nominated to be decorated as the PR Magazine of the year; the highest honour reserved for publications who excelled in upholding the highest professional standard in publishing and journalism that informs, entertains and educates engaging minds, building relationships, transforming marketing decisions and impacting the future.”

In his reaction, the publisher of the magazine and Chief Executive Officer of Awesome Communications, Joshua Ajayi, noted that the recognition from the Lagos NIPR for the third consecutive year is an honour and a testament to the consistency and value Brand Communicator provides the industry.

“We’re motivated and positioned to do more and better in the industry. We are happy and enthusiastic for the future.

“I thank God for this award and I appreciate the Awesome team, the best team in the world for this win. I also congratulate our Senior Reporter, Azeez Disu. One cannot ask for a better team,” he concluded.

He, however, promised that the Brand Communicator magazine will not relent in providing the needed link for the future and advancement of marketing and communications in Nigeria.
