Iniobong Umoren, the job seeker murdered in Akwa Ibom state, has been buried amid tears.
Recall that the deceased, a recent graduate of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO), was found dead — few days after she was declared missing.
The state police command would thereafter apprehend Uduak Frank Akpan, a 20-year-old man for “kidnapping, countlessly raping, and then killing the victim”.

According to the police, the suspected killer was said to have first buried the deceased in a shallow grave and fled.
In several video clips and photos, friends and family gathered to pay their last respect to the deceased on Friday.
I’m here babe. Late, but I came. Work, distance, rain; nothing could keep me from this farewell. I hope your worries are over now. I hope your struggles are no more. I hope you’ve found profound peace. Our world will miss you #IniubongUmoren
