Nigeria’s Special Eagles have secured a spot in the semi-finals of the Africa Amputee Football Cup of Nations with a thrilling 2-1 victory over Liberia. The win sets up a highly anticipated clash against tournament favourites Morocco, who defeated Egypt 4-2 in another intense match.

Technical Director Victor Onyekachukwu praised his team’s focus and discipline, saying, “We remain focused, taking one game at a time. We approached this match, knowing the importance of discipline and securing maximum points.”

Onyekachukwu acknowledged the strength of their semi-final opponents, Morocco, but expressed confidence in his team’s preparation. “Morocco is a very technical and determined side, but we are not under any pressure. We will go back, prepare thoroughly, and ensure our team delivers.”
