Abiola Ahmed honours her late father, Pa Aremu Oladapo Ebenezer Adewale, at an emotional burial ceremony in Lagos attended by loved ones

It was a moment of reflection and celebration as Abiola Ahmed laid her father, Pa Aremu Oladapo Ebenezer Adewale, to rest in Lagos on Saturday, October 25, 2025.

The solemn yet colourful ceremony took place at Ebenezer Comprehensive High School, Ijaye, where family, friends, and well-wishers gathered to pay their final respects.

Pa Aremu Adewale, who passed on at the age of 89, was remembered as a man of integrity, wisdom, and humility.

His long and fulfilling life was described by many as “a meritorious journey of grace and impact.”

In honouring her father’s memory, Abiola Ahmed ensured the burial ceremony reflected his values of love, unity, and gratitude.

Guests shared fond memories of the late patriarch, who was deeply respected in his community.

Pa Adewale is survived by his children, grandchildren, brothers, and a host of friends and relatives. His family expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love and support received during their period of mourning.
