Adron Homes reaffirms its commitment to Nigeria’s culture by sponsoring the 2024 Olojo Festival, promoting domestic tourism and economic empowerment.

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]dron Homes has announced its sponsorship and partnership for the 2024 Olojo Festival, reaffirming its commitment to promoting Nigeria’s cultural heritage and sustainable development through domestic tourism.

In its continuous support for Nigeria’s cultural heritage and sustainable development, Adron Homes and Properties has proudly unveiled its sponsorship and partnership with the House of Oduduwa for the 2024 Olojo Festival.

The announcement was made on September 19, 2024, during a visit by the Adron Homes management, led by Managing Director Mrs. Adenike Ajobo, to the Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, at his Enuwa palace in Ile-Ife.

This collaboration marks the sixth consecutive year that Adron Homes has sponsored the Olojo Festival, a significant event in Yoruba cosmology that celebrates the new year and showcases the rich cultural values of the Yoruba people.

The festival draws visitors from across the world, highlighting Nigeria’s cultural heritage and domestic tourism potential.

Adron Homes’ Chairman, Aare Adetola Emmanuel-King, conveyed the company’s pride in supporting the festival, emphasising the event’s theme: Evolving Transformational Domestic Tourism with Community Festivals.

Mrs. Ajobo explained that the Olojo Festival aligns with Adron Homes’ mission of promoting cultural heritage as a catalyst for economic growth, particularly through domestic tourism.

She stated, “We believe that community festivals like Olojo not only preserve culture but also foster economic empowerment, creating jobs and boosting local economies.”
