Phrank Shaibu has slammed Daniel Bwala’s new role as Special Adviser on Policy Communication, questioning what policies he would be explaining.
[dropcap]P[/dropcap]hrank Shaibu, the Special Assistant on Public Communication to former PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, has sharply criticised the appointment of Daniel Bwala as President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication.
Shaibu mocked Bwala’s new role, describing him as a Special Adviser on “nothing” and questioning the lack of clear policies within Tinubu’s administration.

In a post on X, Shaibu said, “Speed without control leads to ruin but @aonanuga1956, with the relish of an elder, wasted no time in declaring that @BwalaDaniel was, in fact, a Special Adviser on NOTHING.”
He went on to suggest that in an administration with few policies, it was unclear what Bwala could be advising the public on.
This came after Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, disclosed a redesignation within the presidential media team.
Sunday Dare, previously Special Adviser on Public Communication and National Orientation, has been appointed Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications, while Bwala, who had been named Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication just last week, was reassigned to Policy Communication.
