A political commentator Reno Omokri has accused Rufai Oseni of threatening his life over a contentious claim regarding President Tinubu’s educational background.
Omokri alleged that Oseni, in a recent phone conversation, warned him about the dire consequences of persisting in his assertion that Tinubu attended Chicago State University.
“After I Exposed Him As a Liar, Rufai Oseni Called My Brother and Threatened My Life, Because I Insisted Tinubu Attended Chicago State University,” Omokri wrote.
In the leaked audio, a voice attributed to Oseni can be heard stating, “Because if I want to be deadly, I will take your brother out in less than 3 minutes.”
The audio leak has since gone viral, intensifying the already heated debate surrounding President Tinubu’s educational background.
Oseni has been a vocal critic of the ruling party and has consistently questioned the credibility of political figures.
However, the alleged death threat has taken the disagreement to a whole new level, causing widespread concern and raising questions about the role of intimidation in Nigerian politics.
