If the news reaching Freelanews this morning is true, then Lagosians are advised to be cautious in their movements today as a result of clashes arising from the ban placed on motorcycles, popularly called Okada and tricycles, also known as Keke Marwa, by the Lagos State government.

It also appeared the members of Nigerian Police Force aren’t helping matters as its officers were seen chasing and arresting commercial vehicles in all forms of buses but its designated pickup.

Save our soul message has been been received from a part in Lagos, specifically Ijora Olopa of the state.

It was alleged that the police are battling it out with the disgruntled protesters suspected to be Okada and Keke riders. Reports have it that it is happening from Apapa towards Surulere as tyres were seen burning in the middle of the road.

Lagosians are advised to be guided moving around today while the security agents act on the situation.
