Buchi Johnson CMA judge appointment highlights a growing global recognition of African marketing leadership.

The Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) has named Johnson, CEO of Lilvera Group, to its panel for the 59th Annual CMA Awards.

He will evaluate submissions in the Customer Experience and Shopper Marketing category, with the event scheduled for November 7, 2025, at the Westin Harbour Castle, Toronto.

The CMA emphasized Johnson’s cross-border influence, noting his dedication to the marketing profession across Nigeria and Canada.

“The awards would not be possible without your support,” said the association in its acknowledgment.

Expressing gratitude, Johnson stated, “I will commit myself to this function and dedicate my time to judging these creative works.”

Johnson, a certified advertising practitioner under Nigeria’s ARCON and a key member of EXMAN, also leads Lilvera Sales, Marketing & Distribution in Canada.

He remains a powerful advocate for customer-centric and digital-first strategies, urging companies to increase their investment in experiential marketing.
