Burna Boy Armpit Misconception

Burna Boy Armpit Misconception dismissed as hilarious as the singer denies voodoo claims linking his success to his unshaved armpits

The Burna Boy Armpit Misconception has once again made headlines after the Grammy-winning Nigerian singer addressed claims that his unshaved armpits are linked to voodoo powers.

Over the years, photos of Burna Boy with visible body hair have triggered online debates, with some suggesting that his refusal to shave is tied to spiritual strength.

In a candid interview with Apple Music, Burna Boy laughed off the rumors, describing them as “crazy” and “dumb.”

“One is that I don’t like to shave my armpits. People think it’s like Samson in the Bible, that my power is in my hair,” he said.

“Some even claim my armpit is where my power lies because I don’t shave. In Nigeria, you hear wild things. Some believe it’s voodoo, but I don’t even know how to explain it.”

The singer added that he once tried to investigate whether such claims were even possible, underscoring how absurd he found the narrative.
