The event, tagged “Jehovah Jireh,” showcased a series of impactful activities that brought together church members, guests, and renowned gospel artistes.
The festivities commenced on December 2 with a visit to an orphanage as part of the cathedral’s commitment to community outreach. Subsequent days featured a medical outreach, a vigil for sidemen and sidewomen, Women’s Day, and Youths’ Night. Special services included the Seekers’ Service, Revival, and Spiritual Consultation.
The highlight of the celebration was the Night of Gratitude, a Praise Night held at the popular Agege Stadium.
The event drew a vibrant crowd of church members and guests from various denominations, all immersed in an atmosphere of worship and praise.
Gospel artistes such as the host choir, CCC Apex Choir, Tope Alabi, Yinka Alaseyori, Harmony, and others kept the audience engaged in joyful celebration throughout the night.
The grand finale took place with the Thanksgiving Service, commencing with a special prayer at the Land of Mercy and extending into the church auditorium.
The service, filled with a profound sense of God’s presence, continued late into the night. Spiritual leaders, including the spiritual head of Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, Pastor EMF Oshoffa, and other esteemed men of God, joined in the rejoicing and prayers with the congregation.
It is obvious from the feedback from several witnesses that the 2023 harvest committee, led by SNR/EV. Wole Sholola, did a wonderful job in successfully executing the event.
The cathedral, under the leadership of V/SUP/EV. Israel Yomi Oni, guided by the Holy Spirit, has seen remarkable growth and impact. The parochial committee, led by the church life grand patron SUP/EV. Prince Dele Akinola and his amiable wife, LSSES Lola Akinola, the children church matron, has also played a pivotal role in supporting the cathedral’s endeavours.
The entire celebration reflected the cathedral’s commitment to spiritual growth, community service, and fostering a sense of unity among its members and the broader community.
