The Shepherd in charge of the Celestial Church of Christ, Oju Oluwa/Holy Mary Cathedral Parish, Sango Otta, Ogun State, one Prophet Oluwagbemileke, has tendered his unreserved apologies to the Pastor and Spiritual Head, His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F. Oshoffa and indeed all members of C.C.C. W/w for his misdemeanour.

The erring Shepherd violated set rules of the church when he not only began to adorn a blue coloured garment (Sutana), as against the approved white garment (White Sutana) of the C.C.C., but also took it further by authorising members of his congregation to adorn the same blue garment (Sutana) in outright violation of the rules and tenets of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.

This totally unacceptable development was brought to the notice of the Task Force Corps of the Celestial Church of Christ, and a team of Task Force Corps operatives responded immediately by paying an unscheduled visit to the parish (C.C.C. Oju Oluwa/Holy Mary Cathedral) at Sango-Otta in Ogun State.

Caught with his hand in the till as the Shepherd, Prophet Oluwagbemileke, was adorning the said blue garment when the Task Force Corps Officials arrived unexpectedly at his parish, the erring Shepherd owned up to his misdeed and pleaded for mercy and pardon, after being apprehended and chastised by the Task Force operatives.

In a telephone conversation with C.C.C. Media, the Chairman of the Task Force Corps, C.C.C. W/w, Venerable Superior Evangelist Firmin Adjovi, acknowledged that this is just one of the many cases of blatant abuse of the liturgy, rules and tenets of the Church. He assured that the Corps would continue to apprehend such culprits with a view to eradicating similar ills in the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.
