Cherubim and Seraphim University will begin operations by 2026, aiming to groom future leaders with strong moral and spiritual values
Speaking on the sidelines of the centenary lecture in Lagos, Rev. Ajayi—who also founded the Love of Christ Church—revealed that construction of the university is 80% complete, marking a major milestone for the church’s centennial celebration.

The centenary lecture, held on Monday, encouraged members to reflect on the church’s mandate and its forward-looking vision.
Rev. Ajayi noted that the university symbolizes the C&S Church’s dedication to human development, stating it would be instrumental in shaping morally upright future leaders.
“With the decline in moral values, this university will serve as a buffer against amoral behaviours and help instill the right value orientation needed in our society,” she said.
The university will reflect the core principles of holiness, character building, and service to humanity—values that have defined the Cherubim and Seraphim movement over the past 100 years.
According to Ajayi, the church’s mission includes expanding its evangelical efforts globally, and training “bold minds” through academic institutions is a key part of that plan.
“A renewed C&S inspires the global community to rediscover its roots and focus on true human service,” she added.

The church envisions that the university will serve as a platform to train missionaries, evangelists, and professionals equipped to tackle societal anomalies and restore spiritual and moral order.
