In barely six hours after its debut on Boomplay on Friday, the much-anticipated album “Timeless” by Afrobeat singer Davido had gathered one million streams.
The album is presently at No. 1 on Apple Music’s Top Albums Chart in 17 other countries in addition to Nigeria and the UK. Early on Friday morning, Davido posted a message on his social media accounts announcing the arrival of the 17-track album.
He praised his followers and those who helped the project get finished as well as discussed the process he went through in creating his most recent album. He also mentioned his wife, Chioma Rowland.
Finally, WE have returned. To put it mildly, the transition from my previous album to this record has been a whirlwind, stated Davido on Twitter.
The “Timeless” album’s singles also dominated Sierra Leone’s Apple Music Songs Chart, where they peaked from number 1 to number 17.
