Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has issued a stern warning to vendors and business owners against using her name, photos, or videos for marketing or promotional purposes without explicit permission.

In a statement shared on her official Instagram page, Dayo Amusa clarified that paying for a product or service does not obligate her to promote the brand or tag it on her social media platforms.
She emphasised that her images and videos must not be used for marketing purposes without prior consent.
The actress also highlighted that she does not operate a charity platform outside of her Dayo Amusa Foundation, stressing that unauthorized use of her content could lead to consequences.
“HENCEFORTH!!! If I am paying or I pay for your product or service, don’t expect me to mention or tag you in my post. Also do not use my picture/video on your page for any form of promotional purposes without my consent or permission… I don’t run a charity except @dayoamusafoundation.
DO NOT USE MY PICTURE / VIDEO for any form of sales marketing or promotional purposes without my permission, consent or authorization,” she wrote.
Dayo Amusa’s statement comes amid increasing concerns over celebrity content being used without approval for commercial gain.
