APC National Youth Leader Dayo Israel has marked his 40th birthday amid glowing tributes, with Sports247 CEO Jide-Ojo Olusola praising his youth impact

The National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Dayo Israel, marked his 40th birthday on Thursday amid widespread tributes celebrating his influence across Nigeria’s youth, political and sports communities.

Leading the accolades was the Chief Executive Officer of 247SportsNetwork Limited, Jide-Ojo Olusola, who described Israel as “the greatest gift God has given Nigerian youth and the nation at large,” citing his enduring commitment to youth empowerment, sports development and nation-building.

In an emotional birthday message, Jide-Ojo praised Israel’s leadership style, describing him as a rare figure whose passion, humility and consistency have inspired young people within Nigeria and beyond.

“At 40, Dayo Israel stands as a divine gift to Nigerian youth. God has used him to inspire millions—within Nigeria and across the world. His passion, humility, and consistency make him a rare leader of our time,” he said.

Jide-Ojo noted that the Dayo Israel 40th birthday celebration reflects more than a personal milestone, pointing to the APC youth leader’s role in redefining youth participation in politics and governance.

He said Israel has successfully bridged the gap between policy and opportunity while consistently promoting sports as a powerful tool for unity, empowerment and social reform.

According to him, Israel’s influence cuts across political affiliations, as young Nigerians from diverse backgrounds continue to draw motivation from his vision and energy.

“Dayo Israel is not just a political leader; he is a movement. His belief in young people, his encouragement of sports as a vocation, and his dedication to national development have given countless youths hope and direction,” Jide-Ojo added.

He also commended Israel’s alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that his grassroots engagement has helped expand opportunities for youth inclusion, leadership development and sports growth nationwide.

As the Dayo Israel 40th birthday celebrations continue, tributes have poured in from youth organisations, sports administrators, political stakeholders and civil society groups, many of whom credit his work with inspiring a new generation of confident, productive and patriotic Nigerians.

“Nigeria is better because Dayo Israel exists,” Jide-Ojo concluded. “At 40, his journey is only beginning—and the youth are ready to follow.”
