Alhaji Nurudeen Fajimi was on 1st October, 2021 honored with a Distinguished Nigerian Merit Award. The award which was organised by Elitist Media was tagged; Productive and Exceptional Citizens.
Friends and families turned up at the event for him. The event was also graced by other distinguished Rotarians like Babatunde Bouazizi, Jide-Oho Olusola and Arike Olukayode.
The Publisher of Elitist Media Hon. Afolabi Philip said the nomination was based on individuals contributions to the society and their positive impact to the community.
In response to the award, Alhaji Fajimi said the award is dedicated to all Nigerians who believe in the greatness of the country and also to the less privileged in the society. He charged the organizers to extend their hands of fellowship to the communities and help develop the young generations.
Other award recipients were Alhaja Aolat Sule, Mrs. Tosin Ogunwusi, Barrister Seun Alao, Malami Adeyanju amongst others.
