The Lisabi Festival, recognised as the pinnacle of cultural celebration in Egbaland, is set to take place in 2026, with Egbaliganza serving as a heritage creative engine to enhance the festival’s scope and experience.

Organisers emphasised that the festival is not just a celebration of tradition, but a platform for creativity, identity, and community unity.

During the press conference, leaders and stakeholders highlighted the festival’s importance in preserving Egba heritage while fostering collective participation from the community.

Attendees shared their visions for a festival that will blend performances, creative expressions, and cultural showcases to reflect the depth of Egba history and tradition.

Lisabi Festival 2026 promises to deliver an innovative celebration that bridges tradition with modern cultural engagement.

The introduction of Egbaliganza as a creative engine is intended to invigorate the festival, inspiring new ways for the Egba people to connect with their heritage and showcase their creativity.

“The journey to 2026 has officially begun,” organisers declared, urging the Egba community to actively participate in the festival and contribute to its success.

The campaign has already gained momentum online, with the hashtag #Egbaliganza2026 capturing the excitement and spirit of unity surrounding the event.
