APC Stakeholders on Tuesday held a decisive meeting aimed at strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, with a focus on Ejigbo Local Government.
The high-level gathering, which took place at the Ejigbo residence of APC Apex Leader, Senator Mudashiru Husain, was attended by former political office holders, party executives, and the current and past Chairmen of Ejigbo Local Government.
We are consulting and we’ll always keep you updated about the progress made.
In his address, Senator Mudashiru Husain commended stakeholders for their steadfast commitment to the party’s growth and called for sustained unity as the 2026 Governorship election draws near.
“Our party is gaining momentum each day. The leadership of our party is working tirelessly to ensure we return to power and unseat the current occupant,” Senator Husain declared.
He further urged members to uphold the APC’s progressive ideology, adding:
“There have been series of calls demanding that we also show interest in the state Governorship seat. We are consulting and we’ll always keep you updated about the progress made.”
Former Ejigbo Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Hassan Olaniyi, also expressed strong confidence in Senator Husain’s leadership, calling on sons and daughters of Ejigbo to rally behind him.
The stakeholders’ forum reviewed the progress made by party leaders across all eleven wards in Ejigbo and unanimously pledged support for Senator Husain’s 2026 governorship ambition, citing his leadership qualities, political experience, and wide acceptability.
