Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye otherwise known as Mr P has called out some Nigerian banks over scams.

Recall that Mr P, runs a lottery programme which online fraudsters have been using to scam people using his name.

Taking to his Instagram page, the singer, who stated that he is fed up with them, revealed that scammers have been opening accounts in his name to scam victims.

He questioned why banks would allow anyone open an account in his name without verification or seeking necessary documents.

Peter noted how it’s either an inside job from the banks or otherwise and he wouldn’t take things slightly with them.

The father of two states that he is filing a lawsuit against them for damages.

Enough is enough!!
It’s either it’s an inside job or otherwise! I have a name to protect here and save some of these innocent victims! So get ready for me and my legal team!
How can @polarisbankltd allow someone to open an account in the name of “PETER OKOYE PSQUARE” and @myaccessbank you also allow someone open an account name “PETER OKOYE PSQUARE” without valid means of identification, no biometrics, no BVN, no verified address or even utility bill to correspond with the address of the account owner. Now they are using my name to scam innocent people. I am suing this bank for damages and calling them out! One after the other. @officialefcc take not! Enough is enough.
