The audio, which began trending on social media in recent days, reportedly captured a conversation between Apostle Psalm Okpe and a pastor identified as Martins, also known as Martin Ugbulu. Within the discussion, claims were made concerning Apostle Chikere, with Anunobi’s name mentioned in a context that provoked widespread speculation.
The recording included allegations about a woman allegedly involved in inappropriate conduct during a private encounter, though no supporting evidence was provided.
As criticism and public debate intensified, Apostle Psalm Okpe issued a public apology, acknowledging that the statements in the recording were based on hearsay.
He admitted the conversation should not have taken place and expressed regret for the damage caused by discussing unverified information.
Speaking during a live video session, Eucharia Anunobi rejected the allegations outright, describing them as a deliberate attempt to tarnish her reputation.
She said the controversy was driven by malicious intent rather than fact, and expressed confidence that efforts to discredit her had failed.
Anunobi warned social media commentators and bloggers against spreading unverified and defamatory content, highlighting the moral and legal consequences of such actions.
She expressed gratitude for what she described as divine vindication, declaring that those who spoke falsely against her would ultimately be silenced.
