The publisher of Fasnews a daily online news platform, Folake Adunni Sokoya, and family recently organised an eight (8) days Fidau Prayer for her late mother, Alhaja Salami Iyabo popularly known as Adura e agba, who passed onto glory on 13th of April and was buried according to Muslim rites at Apena Cemetery Yaba Lagos.

Freelanews was present to cover the event which took place at their family house in Oyingbo area of the state on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

The fidau witnessed a large turn out of family, neighbours, residents in the area and friends.

In attendance are Chief Femi Okunnu Lawyer Yomi Okunnu, Representatives from the Adeyemi family, Ms Aisha Yaradua, Coordinator, Advocate for children and vulnerable Persons (ACVPN) Comrade Ebenezer Omejalile and others.
