FESCA unveils ethical transformation book on Nigeria

FESCA announces Culture Change, a new book on ethical transformation and governance reform in Nigeria, set for release in May 2027

The Foundation for Ethical Society & Cultural Awareness (FESCA), a non-religious, non-political and non-profit organisation, has announced the upcoming release of a new publication focused on ethics, culture and governance in Nigeria.

The organisation disclosed that the book, titled Culture Change: The Key to Ethical Transformation and Good Governance, is scheduled for release on May 15, 2027.

According to FESCA, the publication presents a critical examination of Nigeria’s developmental challenges, exploring how cultural values, citizen behaviour and governance structures influence national progress.

The FESCA ethical transformation book is positioned as a call for cultural reorientation, with emphasis on ethical leadership, accountability and sustainable national development.

The Foundation said the work is designed to serve as a reference guide for policymakers, educators, civil society actors and citizens seeking practical solutions to Nigeria’s governance challenges.

It also described the book as the first in a planned series of publications addressing key national issues, with a second title already in development focusing on security and insurgency challenges in Nigeria.

Beyond publishing, FESCA said it is collaborating with film producers on documentaries and movies aimed at highlighting ethical challenges and promoting societal reform. Further details of these projects are expected to be released at a later date.

The book will be made available on major online platforms, including Amazon, as well as selected bookstores, with wider distribution planned for educational institutions and public libraries.

FESCA called on individuals, institutions and organisations to support the initiative by making the publication accessible in schools, universities and public learning spaces.

The Foundation for Ethical Society & Cultural Awareness stated that its broader mission is to strengthen ethical consciousness, cultural identity and civic responsibility as pillars of national development.
