A 30 ton crane truck has caught fire along Lagos-Ibadan highway in Ogun State.
We learnt that the crane truck, belonging to Buildwell Company, caught fire while in transit at Redeemed Youth Camp outbound Lagos on Friday afternoon.
The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement (TRACE) Corps confirmed the incident.
TRACE Spokesperson, Babatunde Akinbiyi, said: “motorists plying the axis are implored to play safe and obey traffic diversionary measures put in place by TRACE Corps and other safety agencies around the traffic corridor.”
Firefighters are trying to put out the fire as of the time of filing this report.
