Nigerian media personality, Latasha Ngwube, has cause to rejoice after narrowly escaping a freak accident right in her home.

She recently took to her Instastory to share a video from her bathroom area, showing part of the ceiling that had collapsed right into her bathtub, just when she was considering having a shower.

Referring to the accident as a ‘minor obstacle for a mighty God’, she shared the video showing appreciation to God for helping her escape what could have been a gruesome accident.

She shared the video with the caption: “Minor obstacle for a mighty God. Ceiling came down just as I considered taking a shower.”

Meanwhile, the issue of poor electricity supply in Nigeria remains one of the most fundamental issues in Nigeria and actress Dolly Unachukwu has some things to say about the issue.

The veteran actress who stated she has lived in the UK for close to 2 decades, revealed the power supply is very stable. She then questioned whether the lack of power supply in Nigeria is more than a leadership issue, suggesting it might be a ‘special evil’.

Part of her post reads: “How are we sure there isn’t a special kind of evil which our leaders themselves are finding so hard to contain? Can different cabinets keep failing Nigerians over and over again without a hidden reason?”

In other news, social media recently buzzed with mixed reactions following a story of a lady who may have caused quite an issue with her boyfriend, Chidi, following her recent comment about his mother’s cooking.

In the screenshots of their conversation going round the internet, she had just met his family and was gushing over it. However, she felt the mother got a bit too ‘excited’ as the food turned out salty, and she mentioned it to him.

For obvious reasons, this did not sit well with him and he immediately took offence. The boyfriend who said he ate the food and it wasn’t salty, accused her of mocking his mother’s cooking which he stated had sustained him for most of his life.
