The competition, which opened on June 28, 2026, will run until July 28, giving participants across Nigeria and the diaspora one month to submit songs inspired by the movement’s values of humanity, compassion, hope, transformation and service.
According to a statement issued on behalf of the foundation by Fanafillit Integrated Concepts, the production company coordinating the GLOWFUX @10 Anniversary celebration, the initiative is designed to discover emerging talent while strengthening public engagement ahead of the landmark event scheduled for December 28, 2026.
“The GLOWFUX @10 Theme Song Challenge is designed to discover, empower and celebrate talented young people and adults who are passionate about music, creativity and positive social impact,” the statement said.
“It offers them the opportunity to become part of a movement that has spent the last ten years transforming lives, inspiring hope and creating unforgettable experiences for children, families and communities.”
The organisers said the challenge extends beyond entertainment, describing it as a platform for creatives to contribute to a movement that has consistently promoted humanitarian values through music and community engagement.
“At GLOWFUX, we believe music possesses a unique power to unite people, communicate values and inspire generations.
This challenge therefore presents a fitting opportunity to create a soundtrack that reflects the story, vision and enduring impact of the GLOWFUX movement,” the statement added.
The competition is open to musicians, choirs, spoken word artists, content creators and aspiring performers within Nigeria and abroad, with participants expected to produce original entries that reflect the vision of the organisation and the excitement surrounding its forthcoming anniversary.
Beyond celebrating musical creativity, the organisers hope the initiative will amplify conversations about social impact and encourage broader public participation in the anniversary activities.
To encourage widespread participation, the foundation has announced cash prizes for the top entries. The overall winner will receive ₦100,000, while the first runner-up will take home ₦50,000.
Participants are required to follow @glowfux on Instagram and TikTok, upload an original competition entry on their social media platforms, use the official hashtag #GLOWFUXat10, invite @glowfux as a collaborator on the post and encourage audience engagement through likes, comments, shares and reposts. Organisers said only one entry will be accepted from each participant.
Audience engagement is expected to play an important role throughout the campaign by increasing the visibility of entries and helping talented participants reach wider audiences.
Barely days after its launch, the GLOWFUX Theme Song Challenge has already begun generating conversations on social media, with musicians, choirs and digital creators expressing interest in joining the competition.
Outstanding participants will not only compete for cash rewards and public recognition but will also have the opportunity to contribute to the official soundtrack of the GLOWFUX 10th Anniversary celebration, a milestone organisers describe as one of the most significant moments in the initiative’s history.
Since its inception, the GLOWFUX Charity Concert has evolved into a platform that combines entertainment with philanthropy, supporting vulnerable children and promoting community development through charitable interventions and creative engagement.
As preparations continue for the December anniversary celebration, the organisers are encouraging educational institutions, corporate organisations, media organisations, development partners and members of the public to support the campaign and help showcase emerging creative talent across the country.
