[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he fashion industry is gearing up for another exhilarating experience as the highly anticipated GTCO Fashion Weekend makes its return for the 6th edition in November.

Scheduled for November 11th and 12th, 2023, at the GTCO Centre in Lagos, this annual event is a consumer-focused fair designed to showcase the very best of Africa’s fashion on a global stage.

This was revealed today to journalists at a media briefing held at the GTCO head office at Plot 635, Akin Adesola in Victoria Island.

Over the years, the GTCO Fashion Weekend has firmly established itself as an incubator for diverse fashion talent, creativity, and entrepreneurial endeavors, bringing together both established African fashion brands and emerging labels. It offers a unique opportunity for interaction between celebrated fashion icons, style personalities, and budding designers. The event will feature insightful masterclasses, thrilling runway shows, and more than 140 fashion retailers offering their wares.

GTCO fairs are known for their vibrant atmosphere, including colorful facades, lively music, and a delightful ambiance, ensuring a multisensory and fulfilling experience for all attendees.

This year’s edition will feature masterclasses to be led by top fashion names in the world like Julee Wilson, Sergio Hudson, Jawara, Jourdan Dunn and Sir John.

Other activities also slated to thrill the attendees of this year’s fair are sales, exhibitions, streetwear and runway fashion shows by big fashion names like Ejiro Amos Tafiri, Hishan Zhang, Banke Kuku, Mazelle Studio, Loza Maleombho and others.

The Group Chief Executive Officer of Guaranty Trust Holding Company PLC, Segun Agbaje, emphasised the importance of the GTCO Fashion Weekend in showcasing not only fashion items but also creative expressions that resonate with a global audience.
