Five people were killed in an attack by gunmen in Mbar community, Plateau State. The assault occurred as unarmed youths were travelling.
[dropcap]U[/dropcap]nidentified gunmen killed five people in the Mbar community of Bokkos Local Government Area, Plateau State.
The attack happened on Sunday night while unarmed youths were travelling from Mbar town to Koh village.

The assailants, riding motorcycles, attacked the youths as they bypassed Yelwa Nono village. The military had previously repelled these terrorists from the surrounding mountains.
The Bokkos Cultural Development Council condemned the violence, citing prior intelligence on terrorist movements and expressing concerns about ongoing attacks aimed at displacing locals.
The terrorists fled before security forces arrived, adding to a series of violent incidents in the region. The Bokkos Local Government Council, led by Christy Loyi, confirmed the incident and promised increased security measures.
