From a very modest and humble beginning in Porto Novo, Republic of Benin in 1947, the church which came into being through Prophet, Pastor, Founder Samuel Bilewu Joseph Oshoffa, has experienced phenomenal growth and spread in her 76 years of existence. Celestial Church of Christ parishes have been planted in far flung countries like Australia, India, France, USA, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Austria and still counting.
Today, at 76, the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide continues to forge ahead in her vision to evangelize the world through the proclamation of the word. The Church remains unwavering in her proclamation of deliverance to those bound by the shackles of Satan, healing the sick, the deformed and restoring hope to the hopeless.
Today, we celebrate a giant in the comity of churches that has remained strong and unstoppable, irrespective of the shenanigans of Satan and the agents of the devil.
We not only celebrate and jubilate but we also congratulate His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head of C.C.C. W/w, the Board of Trustees, the Pastor in Council, the Council of Shepherds and Church Workers and indeed the entire Clergy and Laity of our great Church on this joyous occasion.
So, bring out the drums and cymbals. Let the celebration continue!!!
