It was an historic moments in the chamber movement of southwest Nigeria as Odu’a Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture sign an MOU with Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The MOU signing became important as both organization is desirous of changing the narrative of southwest economy using the handles of Commercial Activities, Industrial revolution, Mining and Agriculture value chains.
LCCI President, Olawale Cole, Council Members and Director General, Dr Chinyere Almona hosted the Odua’ccima team.
The president, Prince Kayode Adeyemi, was accompanied by members of the council including Iyalode Alaba Lawson (Past President Odua’ccima & Naccima); Chief Kola Akosile (IPP, Odua’ccima and NVP Naccima), Alh. Wasiu Olaleye (Odua’ccima 2nd Deputy President) and Modupe Olakunle (Odua’ccima Treasurer).
Others were Engr Michael Akingbade, president Ogunccima;Comrade Akin Agunbiade (Odua’ccima Council Member); Ene Toyosi (Deputy Naworg Coordinator, Odua’ccima ); Stella Akande (Naworg Odua’ccima); Adenipekun Diekolade (NYE Odua’ccima) and David Awotipe (Director-General, Odua’ccima).
Olawale Cole and Dr Chinyere Almona signed on behalf of LCCI while Prince Kayode Adeyemi and David Awotipe signed on behalf of Odua’ccima.
