Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon clashes with Wizkid over Davido feud, sending a barrage of linguistic missiles after Wizkid’s sharp retort.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he media has been awash with the spat between two top Nigerian artistes, Davido and Wizkid.

Many believe the fight is a PR stunt to whip up attention for their new releases, and if that is true, it is working, as fans of both artistes are clashing.

In an unusual twist, the controversial grandmaster of big grammar in Nigeria, Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon, has joined the dispute.

In response to one of Wizkid’s remarks, Obahiagbon advised that the artiste should calm down and abandon acrimony for peace, as the “Hola At Your Boy” crooner appears to be attacking from all angles.

Wizkid seemed unimpressed and directed a sharp retort at the politician.

“Abeg, gerrout!! 🦅” with a flying eagle emoji greeted Obahiagbon’s comment.

The shocked and disbelieving politician delved into his linguistic arsenal and hurled a barrage of verbose missiles at Wizkid.

“During his apoplectic vituperation yesterday, Wizkid insulted Igodomigodo. What a cockalorum he is! A flibbertigibbet. An ultracrepidarian whippersnapper. What an obstreperous doodlebug. A Lilliputian delinquent. A cantankerous incunabula.

“However, I forgive him,” he replied.
