Thursday, 4th of June 2020 was a glorious day for Hon. Temitope Adewale, member representing Ifako Ijaiye State Constituency 1 at the Lagos State State House of Assembly, and Chairman House Committee on Transportation, as he was presented with Bottomline TV Recognition Medal of Honor and Award of Excellence.
Hon. Temitope Adewale, A product of the University of Lagos, who graduated with B.Sc. Honors, Second Class Division in Estate Management. As an Estate Surveyor and Valuer.
Ho. Temitope, otherwise known as JAH was previously a Special Assistant to 2 serving civilian Governors (past) in Lagos State (Excellencies, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN). Both of whom he acknowledged along with former Osun State governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, and his biological father, Honourable. (Dr.) Adewale Elijah Oluwatayo, also popularly known as Dr. JAH, as his political mentors.
As a Politician, he started his public service career as a revenue Supervisor at the Lagos State Board of Internal Revenue (LIRS) before he got actively involved in the grassroots politics.
He got appointed into the Civil service where he served in various ministries and agencies, among which are the Public Service Office, Ministry of Lands, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, then the Office of the Chief of Staff before he got appointed as the Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State, Office of Chief of Staff and Special Assistant to the Governor on Budget Monitoring respectively. In late 2014, He was re-appointed as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on Works and Infrastructure.
Hon. Temitope Adewale was elected On Saturday, the 9th of March of 2019 to represent the good people of Ifako Ijaiye at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
