Flour Mills of Nigeria (FMN) Plc, one of the biggest brands in the foods and agro-allied industry in Africa, has appointed Ilyas Kazeem as its new Marketing Director – Food Division.

Prior to his appointment, Kazeem has been a Marketing Sales Director with over 15years global and regional work experience across multinational FMCG and Food industries with core expertise in Global Business Management. He has worked across various segments of marketing ranging from Category Design to Product Development for Sub Saharan Africa, Category & Brand Management for East and West Africa, Marketing Brand Communication for West Africa. He has developed and executed sales, GTM plans, whitespace expansion plans across multiple categories in SSA.
Kazeem also has deep expertise in Digital Marketing (PPC, Social, Direct Marketing etc.) with full CRM integration, driving ROI and CPR growth. He is excellent in Content Management, Media Plan and Strategy Development and a renowned Capability growth leader for team and partners.
He also served as the Group Marketing Director for ENG Africa with over 15 years Marketing and Category Sales work experience across multiple geographies in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Having worked with P&G and Hayat Kimya prior to joining Eat‘N’Go in 2018 as Domino’s Marketing Manager, Kazeem has garnered numerous experiences building brands across the FMCG sector.
He is a graduate of the University of Oxford and also currently a Doctorate Degree Research Student in Business Administration at the Durham University Business School. Ilyas has an MBA in Marketing and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
